Frances Hodgson Burnett

Frances Eliza Hodgson Burnett (24 November 1849 – 29 Oktober 1924) ist die  in England geborene und später in den USA lebende Autorin der bekannten Kinderbücher "Little Lord Fauntleroy" (1885–1886), "A Little Princess" (1905) und "The Secret Garden" (1911). Darüber hinaus verfaßte sie eine größere Anzahl von Romanen für Erwachsene, die bislang nur im englischen Sprachraum populär wurden.
